Lewis Creek Company had the pleasure of working with Dr. Stephen Brandon and Dr. Shelley Crombach to update their chiropractic office in Shelburne, Vermont. We felt a strong sense of alignment (hehe) throughout the project, and are thrilled to share what Dr. Brandon had to say…

Prior to working with Lewis Creek, we had what I would consider a typical Vermont office: a professional building fit into an old home. The building has served our community with great success for many years, thanks to thoughtful additions put on by previous owners, but it needed an upgrade. We had individual examination rooms, which were functional but dated, and had serious lighting problems. The flooring was heavily worn. The space felt very closed off, dark, and too clinical for our tastes.

Here’s what the office looked like before…

We had individual examination rooms, which were functional but dated, and had serious lighting problems. The flooring was heavily worn. The space felt very closed off, dark, and too clinical for our tastes. It also created workflow inefficiencies in running our healthcare practice.

We envisioned a large, open concept facility that would allow us to gain functional space and make a greater impact on the health of our community. Our vision was to inspire people by letting them see others’ success.

By taking away the barriers between rooms we would create opportunities for open conversation about healthcare and the ability for patients to see people of all ages getting better naturally with the help of chiropractic care. Our brand of healthcare is meant to be encouraging and fun. We needed a space to match that.

What we have now is incredible. We had no idea how proud we could feel to welcome people into our space. It’s modern, sleek, clean, and accommodating. There are very few offices in this region doing what we are doing and that’s in large part due to the space that we have. The impact has reached further than we imagined.

We’ve gained…

More time with patients.
At our practice, efficiency is about maximizing the time spent interacting with a patient. We’ve eliminated unnecessary steps and inefficiencies to be able to see more people with the same clinical effectiveness. As it turns out, we are getting better outcomes in patient care!

A modern look for a modern practice.
Our standard for excellence in healthcare is clear from looking at our space. New top-of-the-line chiropractic adjustment tables. Computers mounted by each adjustment table, so that we always have patient information at our fingertips.

Flexibility and versatility.
One of the greatest assets of the new space is its versatility. Lewis Creek designed a space that would be full of possibilities and allow us to adapt to the needs of our patients and our practice. Even the electrical components, lighting, and overhead fans were thoughtfully incorporated into the design in a way that supports flexibility and allows us to put even our largest equipment in many different locations.

The “Wow!” factor.
We love when people first see our new open adjusting area. They are wowed and intrigued. Most people have not been in a similar health center and the feedback from our patients has been overwhelmingly positive.

The greatest part of working with Lewis Creek may have been that we were working with Lewis Creek. Their team are consummate professionals who listen, come up with creative solutions, and genuinely care. The crew moved with tremendous efficiency, which was especially important to us as our project had serious time constraints. We felt like we mattered and that they were taking our hopes as seriously as we were. We were expecting to knock down a few walls. What we got was superior customer service, technical excellence, a gorgeous finished product, and a go-to partner for any future projects we may have.
