Derek has an expansive carpentry background, having worked in both residential and commercial construction and remodeling in multiple states as well as, most recently, in the Virgin Islands. Derek enjoys renovating and seeing something old be given new life. He loves that our work has no shortage of new things to learn and opportunities to be creative.

Derek is originally from Florida and has lived all over. He moved to Vermont from the Virgin Islands to be closer to his family and currently lives in Lincoln. While Derek doesn’t love the cold, he does love being able to hunt, fish, sail, hike, and enjoy all that Vermont has to offer outdoors. A few of Derek’s favorite things are coffee, BLTs, and glazed donuts!
